MAPPING DEVON AND DORSET

The map above illustrates the range of the Newburgh family.  They began in Lulworth and gradually moved west populating the western parts of Dorset now called Devon (since 1823). 

The earliest Newberry person (Agnes)  was found in Colyton 1579 (yellow marker) 

​The earliest Newburgh person was John Newbrugh in 1499 in All Hallows, which was around Exeter. I believe Sir Roger Newburgh was probably in Exeter as well.
